ALBA Graduation Ceremony 2007
Successfully Concluded!
The ALBA Graduation Ceremony for the year 2007 took place on October 4, 2007, at the Athens College Theatre, with 220 Graduates.
Keynote speaker was Mr. Alexis Papahelas, Managing Editor of 'Kathimerini' Newspaper. Finally, a short address by Ms. Lida Papageorgiou, on behalf of the ALBA Alumni Association concluded the 2007 Graduation Ceremony.
ALBA Alumni Body
As of the October 2007 Graduation Ceremony, the total ALBA alumni body consists of 1,784 distinguished individuals. The ALBA MBA Alumni are 707, the Professional MBA Alumni are 613, the MBA in Shipping Alumni are 11, the MBA in Banking Alumni are 19, the MSc In Finance Alumni are 80, the MSc In Strategic HRM Alumni are 129, the MSc In Business for Lawyers Alumni are 150 and the EFG Eurobank-Ergasias In Financial Services Alumni are 60 Alumni.
ALBA Alumni form a group of young and dynamic managers in the process of forging challenging careers, while at the same time enhancing ALBA's reputation in the Greek and international business communities.
ALBA Alumni & Alba
The relationship of Alumni with ALBA does not end with graduation. Having shared the same educational and professional experience and forged bonds through mutual interest and joint work, they remain close to ALBA and enjoy close links with each other. Moreover, they enthusiastically support the School's objectives, and contribute to its mission through a variety of social and professional activities. Often they act as intermediaries between their companies and ALBA, encouraging and actively promoting new forms of collaboration.
Álumni are also heavily involved in the life of ALBA, acting as
- members of the Admissions Committee, during the selection process of MBA, Professional MBA, MSc in Strategic HRM and MBA in Shipping candidates;
- potential recruiters of ALBA graduates, on an on-going basis, participating in the annual Career Forum
- supervisors of group/field consulting projects assigned by companies to the MBA class;
- speakers at career-related panels, offering to ALBA students advice and guidance for their futures;
- advisory members in various focus groups, such as academic programs, curriculum revision, fundraising activities, etc.

ALBA Career and Alumni Office
Career and Alumni Office provide, on the basis of ALBA's extensive knowledge of the job market and its close links with the business community, support to assist alumni in their career development. On-going counselling is offered to any alumnus wishing to discuss specific career issues on an individual basis. The purpose of career counselling is to help graduates to take the right decision about their career so as to achieve successful career planning and development.
ALBA cultivates this continuous relationship with its Alumni through various events and gatherings of social, alternate or educational character that provide networking opportunities, aimed at strengthening connections and forging professional and social bonds.
ALBA Alumni Community
In April 2002, ALBA took a major step forward, with the development of a dedicated alumni website or, more accurately, a collaboration and community building online environment. This is a unique service, exclusively for the use of ALBA alumni.
The new site is called ALBA Alumni Community (http://alumni.alba.edu.gr).
ALBA alumni may insert their personal code (received right after their graduation) and
be informed about the latest job offers submitted to ALBA and the various alumni events
keep their personal data updated

ALBA Alumni Association
The ALBA Alumni Association was founded in 1993. It grows from year to year and has become a valuable source of information and contacts for every new graduating class. New graduates, thus, immediately become part of an expanding network offering them career guidance, opportunities for employment and professional support. The ALBA Alumni Association also organizes networking social ('Get Together') or professional ('Learning for life') events.
