Our first Norwegian partner school | University of South-Eastern Norway (USN)

We're excited to announce a new exchange program between Alba and University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), aimed at fostering collaboration in Business and Shipping Management education. With many students from USN's Bachelor's program in Maritime Management joining our MSc in Shipping Management at Alba, our institutions have formed a strong relationship . This agreement formalizes our commitment to student exchanges, field trips, and summer schools, providing valuable opportunities for cross-cultural learning and academic enrichment.

The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) was established on May 4th, 2018. Norway has one of the most complete maritime business sectors in the world, the Norwegian Maritime Cluster.  USN is one of the leading academic institution within this cluster.  USN offers a full set of bachelor, master and PhD programs related to maritime operations and management. The University has eight campuses at Drammen, Vestfold, Kongsberg, Ringerike, Bø, Notodden, Porsgrunn and Rauland. It also has four faculties including a school of Business and a faculty of Technology, Natural Sciences and Maritime Sciences. USN has 88 undergraduate programs, 44 master's programs and 8 PhD programs. Measured in the number of students, USN is the fourth largest University in Norway with approximately 17,000 students and 1,900 staff, spread over the eight campuses.
