Could you update us on your latest professional developments?
I recently joined Huawei Technologies’ research lab in Ireland, which designs the company’s solution for Big Data Analytics for telecoms. Huawei is a leading global information and communications technology solutions provider, and my role is involved with the development of the product portfolio, the commercial proposition, and the go-to-market strategy.
 

How did ALBA help you in your career?
ALBA helped me set up my career in the path I desired. It provided me with a lasting foundation of knowledge, method and principle based on which I can continuously develop my profession.

Share with us your fondest memory while studying at ALBA
Certainly the quirkiest moment was the 1999 earthquake in Athens which hit during our Organizational Behavior class. I kept calm and carried on reading the case study, exiting only after completing it to the end. For me, this was a testament to the excitement of the intellectual challenge the program was giving me.

You’ve had quite a corporate career so far… and recently moved to Ireland to launch an international career! Care to share some advice with your fellow alumni on how to achieve corporate success outside of Greece?

Be quick to change and adapt to a different reality; get a CV suitable for the new market, mingle with locals, and focus on targeting jobs you are best at. Have faith in your abilities but be open to learning from your new colleagues and assuming new ways.
