If your country of origin is not an EU Member, you will need a student visa in order to study at ALBA. It's important to note that no other kind of visa is acceptable, ONLY a student visa applies! A student visa is a 3-month, single entry visa, with which you apply for a residence permit once you have arrived in Greece.

This residence permit will be valid for one year, which is usually the duration of your studies. If your studies exceed this one year, you will need to apply for a renewal after the residence permit has expired. Student visas in Greece are issued only for full-time study, on the understanding that students study on campus and have the sufficient funds to cover their tuition fees and living expenses while residing in Greece. ALBA actively assists applicants in the process of applying for a visa for studies and a residence permit, after they have secured a place in one of our programs.
