The ALBA faculty consists of a core of resident faculty and a number of visiting professors from leading international business schools (e.g., Boston College, INSEAD, IMD, London Business School, New York University, Warwick University). ALBA Resident Professors are leading academics who produce high calibre academic research that has appeared in such journals as Academy of Management Review, Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Finance, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Operations Management, Management Science, Review of Financial Studies, and Strategic Management Journal.
Faculty members are engaged in ongoing research at the cutting edge from which new ideas, knowledge and applications are generated and incorporated into teaching. The pursuit of world-class research constitutes a fundamental element of ALBA's institutional blueprint and one of the most important dimensions of resident faculty's academic activities. The current 20-member faculty team have produced several books and book chapters, thousands of academic conference presentations, and hundreds of journal articles. In July 2015 ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece was the host of the 31st EGOS Colloquium in Athens, Greece.
