Born in Flint, Michigan to parents of Greek descent, Maria Moragianis returned to Greece in 1994, where she worked as a journalist and editor for six years at various media houses, including the Athens News Agency. She has published a number of articles covering the Greek business, political and financial scenes. In 1999, she completed her Master’s degree in Education. A year later, she embarked on a corporate career in consulting at Egon Zehnder International, where she stayed on for seven years. At EZI, Maria acquired significant experience in identifying talent for a specific set of defined core competencies and placing the right candidate in the right position. In 2008, Maria became Director of ALBA Graduate Business School’s Career & Alumni Office, thus cashing in her business expertise in an academic setting. At the same time, she qualified as an executive coach by completing Impact’s Diploma in Executive Coaching & Organizational Development. Maria is passionate about her blog, equipping her students & coachees for their future careers, taking risks and promoting synergies. Her career focus has been building alliances and helping people connect. In her free time, she organizes networking events, bringing together leaders in business, senior executives and entrepreneurs.
