Location And Facilities
The program will be delivered once (1) a week at ALBA and once (1) or twice (2) (depending on the schedule) at a hotel (to be announced) at Athens.
ALBA is located at Vouliagmeni. Its premises include:
- 3 Amphitheatres
- 2 teaching rooms
- Study rooms
- Library
- Computer Labs
- Career & Alumni Office
- Student Lounge
- Professors offices
- Management offices
The hotel will be centrally located in Athens (further details to be announced shortly).
Services
The Library
ALBA's Library is an academic Library, covering the subject fields of management and related sciences.
The Library's aim is to support all members of the ALBA community, i.e. students, faculty and alumni.
Both students and faculty have free access to the entire Library's collection and its electronic services.
Although ALBA Alumni may not use the Library's lending services, they are welcome to use the Library for reference purposes.
External users requiring occasional access may use the Library for reference purposes only.
The Computer Center
ALBA is equipped with state-of-the-art computer services, supporting both educational and administration needs.
The local area network consists of approximately 100 PCs running under Windows NT operating system and configured with the latest software versions. More than half are available to the students, at study rooms, the Computer Laboratory and the Library, as well as in the classrooms and amphitheatres, to be used during lectures and case study/projects presentations. Networked high speed laser and desk jet printers are also available.
The "heart" of the network is based on NT servers. Internet access is achieved via a 1 Mb HellasCom line.
