To succeed in a dynamically evolving business environment, business managers need to think and act strategically. Our priority at ALBA ACT is to adopt a pragmatic approach whereby the theoretical content taught can be immediately applied to the real business world. The distinctive and innovative identity of the Executive MBA Program encompasses the following dimensions:
Holistic Approach: An integrative approach to business issues, which enables participants to enhance their general management skills and obtain the knowledge they require as managers. Courses in the Program are coordinated to emphasize links between the various business disciplines, thus helping participants to develop a holistic and integrated view of managing an organization.
Strategic Focus: The emphasis on strategic issues helps develop the skills of a successful strategic decision-maker in the presence of either competition or co-operation.
Integration across disciplines: Although individual courses cover all functional areas of a business, the focus of the program is on linking the courses and ensuring that the cross-functional effects of decisions are understood and integrated into the decision-making process.
Business Plan Project: The Business Plan Project offers participants the opportunity to integrate acquired knowledge across all business disciplines, by structuring and delivering a comprehensive business plan for a real company.
Business Game: The Program culminates with the Business Game simulation, aimed at putting participants' decision-making skills to the test in the context of a complex, dynamic and competitive environment where business decisions and competitor behavior affect one another.
