On behalf of the members of the ALBA community I would like to thank you for your interest in our Professional MBA, a course of studies tailor made to the needs of working professionals.

We are particularly proud of our program because it reflects the latest developments in business education. It incorporates important innovations that appear for the first time in Greece, while maintaining the comprehensive nature of traditional top quality MBA programs.

In addition, our curriculum also aims to develop initiative among participants. The program's content and structure reflects the importance of current entrepreneurial initiatives related to the New Economy and the changing business practices of large and established companies, who are now empowering their middle managers to take strategic initiatives once reserved for senior managers. A number of activities in our Professional MBA Program intend to prepare managers, so that they can make the most of these changes in a dynamic, evolving business world. We cultivate initiative via an individualized project on human and business capital development, a rich array of relevant electives, and a trip to one of the world's most exciting entrepreneurial regions.

Currently, in its twelfth year, the Program is attended by 119 students, out of which 46 are fully or partially sponsored by their companies. As of October 2007, the Program has 612 alumni who hold remarkable managerial positions in a large variety of businesses in the private and public sector. A total of 518 companies have been represented through their executives in our Program in the first eleven classes. The number of companies who find ALBA's program as valuable to the professional development of their staff, continues to grow. Their confidence emanates from the difference ALBA's graduates make in the business world. This is why many industrial and service enterprises repeatedly sponsor their employees to attend our Professional MBA program. Our graduates' satisfaction with and enthusiasm about the program, provide ALBA with one of its valuable recommendations. This has led to a stream of quality applicants from both ALBA member and non-member companies.

Program participants boast a variety of solid academic backgrounds, but they all have two things in common: maturity and a determination to succeed. The Professional MBA experience is not for the faint of heart. On top of an already hectic and busy work-life, we are asking that you make a substantial investment in time, effort, and attention.
