Information for Applicants



a. Applicant Profile

The Program aims at working professionals in the Banking Industry who wish to follow an intensive MBA program without interrupting their job. To apply for the MBA in Banking Program, applicants should meet all the following criteria:

  1. Be currently employed or self-employed,
  2. Have work experience of at least 3 years (military service not included),
  3. Hold a Bachelor's Degree
  4. Have competed military services (where applicable)

Applicants who meet all the above criteria but are currently without a job, or currently have a job but intend to discontinue their employment after entering the Program, are strongly discouraged from applying and should consider the regular Full-Time MBA Program.

b. Student Qualifications

Applicants who conform to the ALBA applicant profile should have a number of qualifications:

  1. Good command of the English language (as evidenced with TOEFL or Proficiency), and satisfactory performance in an interview
  2. Good prior academic performance
  3. Strong recommendations from their employer(s) and professors

c. Admissions Procedure

Candidates to be considered for the MBA in Banking Program must submit the following documents:

  1. A complete Application Form including two recent photographs
  2. Two Letters of Recommendation from professors and/or employer(s)
  3. Official transcripts of Grades and Diploma (of your undergraduate and graduate studies if any)
  4. TOEFL scores (88 minimum score), Proficiency or IELTS (6.5 minimum score) unless their Bachelor's degree has been awarded from an English speaking academic institution
  5. GMAT scores (optional)
  6. Essays


Interested prospective applicants are advised to follow the specific directions and deadlines contained in the leaflet, "INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS", when applying. Applications received after the submission deadline may not be reviewed for the current intake, but will certainly be reviewed for next year's intake. Applications with one or more missing documents will not be processed until these documents are received. The Admissions Committee on the basis of qualifications and the students' personal commitment decides admission to the Program.
