Survey Results – Policy Suggestions

The Initiative “Mobilize Youth Employability in Greece” was successfully concluded with a press conference on Thursday, 12 of December 2013.

The aim of this initiative, an idea originated by Citi Greece, funded by Citi Foundation and implemented by the Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece, was to identify and depict the causes and characteristics of youth employability in Greece. The research project included three field surveys (employees, unemployed and human resources managers), focus groups and personal interviews with public and collective bodies’ representatives, universities career offices and specialized professionals (“headhunters”). Research results were presented in a high profile open event to central government representatives (Minister of Employment), followed by a fruitful discussion leading to “policy suggestions” for the improvement of youth employability prospects in Greece.

Research results presentation and the initiative’s results publication, can be found here (in Greek language only).
