Dr. Nikos Tsikriktsis will teach at the Executive MBA

During the weekend of 9-10 May Dr. Nikos Tsikriktsis will be teaching at the ALBA Executive MBA Program the course “Production & Operations Management”.  Dr. Nikos Tsikriktsis is Professor of Operations Management, Associate Dean, Director of GEMBA Programme at CEIBS. Prior to CEIBS, he was Professor of Operations and Service Management at IMD, Switzerland. Before joining IMD he was a faculty member at London Business School (UK) and at ALBA (Greece).  

The aim of the “Production & Operations Management” course is to enable students recognize the importance of the efficient management of the organizational activities and resources that are responsible for the creation of the firm’s primary products and services. Products are not only considered the goods provided by manufacturing firms, but also the intangible services provided by service organizations. Dr. Tsikriktsis will outline the tools for designing production systems, planning and control and challenge the participants so that they will be able to provide managerial guidelines for modifying or inventing new operation systems in a firm.
