ALBA presents “The Paul Kleindorfer Scholarship for Academic Excellence”

In the memory of the late Professor Paul Kleindorfer, a long-standing member of the ALBA Academic Council, and a Professor of the Wharton School and INSEAD, ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece presents the new named Scholarship “The Paul Kleindorfer Scholarship for Academic Excellence”.

Professor Kleindorfer had been very instrumental in shaping the character and direction of our School. His contribution to ALBA is of profound historical significance, and his advice had always been invaluable. This scholarship serves as a symbol of gratitude and respect for his invaluable services to our School.

About the Professor

Professor Kleindorfer served Wharton in a number of roles, including two terms as Operations and Information Management Department chair, Vice Dean of the Doctoral Programs, and Co-Director of the Risk Management and Decision Processes Center.  During his career, Professor Kleindorfer published over 25 books and numerous research papers. After retirement, he accepted a faculty position at INSEAD where he was the Paul Dubrule Professor of Sustainable Development and Distinguished Research Professor. He was active in research until shortly before his death and had an international reputation in the areas of operations management, energy and risk management.
