Business Unusual Award

ALBA’s mission is to educate visionary leaders of tomorrow who will act as agents of change and help shape the future business world by pushing forward the frontiers of knowledge related to the management of business organizations.

In the aforementioned framework, ALBA has always offered scholarships to candidates with a solid academic and professional profile, and financial aid to those facing serious financial problems, in order to actively promote equal opportunities to people who well deserve it.

In order to support our scholarship fund and be able to continue to offer scholarships to at least 20% of students who meet the academic criteria but fail to meet the financial requirements of the program of their choice, every two years we hold a fundraising event called the ‘ALBA Business unusual Award’.

ALBA Business unusual Award’ highlights important activities that have a positive impact on the Greek economy and society and, at the same time, honors exceptional individuals who could serve as role models for personal and professional behavior.

The Award throughout the years:

In 2010, ALBA decided to focus on entrepreneurship and give the 1st Business unusual Award to the late Captain Vassilis K. Konstantakopoulos. In 2012, we focused on corporate social responsibility and honored Mr. Theodoros Papalexopoulos with the 2nd Business unusual Award, while in 2014 the 3rd Business unusual Award was given to Mr. George David for his business extroversion.
