Programme Structure

Students of this programme will complete their first year at the ICMA centre and continue at ALBA Graduate Business School for one and a half years with the last term of their studies taking place in Reading. Supervision will be joint: one supervisor from the ICMA Centre and one from ALBA. Most importantly, students will graduate with a Full-Time PhD in Finance from the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading and will be registered as “working-away” while at ALBA. The structure of this programme will be exactly the same to the existing PhD programme at the University of Reading, with the same admissions criteria.

Waived fees / Stipend

Fees will be waived for successful applicants. Furthermore, students will also receive a stipend both during their time in Reading and at ALBA (and be required to undertake some teaching/research assistance as applicable to all PhD students).
